13 years!

Tonight we went out and celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.  Our real anniversary is June 1 which is Monday and with our schedules right now going out on a Monday was not an option.  We also needed to find something that was cost friendly because, well, we are on a budget.  For those of you who know me in real life will know that I have a champagne tastes but we are so on a beer budget right now.  So we went bowling!  So silly.  

My dad offered to pay for us to go out to dinner, which was great and then we went to the bowling alley to hang out with all the teenagers.  It was a quite funny really and I have to give a quick shout out to my Kelly in Colorado for the idea! And hun, I also took your other idea and went ahead and made up a big batch of margaritas in a sport water bottle and just added them to ice later.  So good!

I really can't believe that we have been married for 13 years.  Sometimes it seems like just a minute ago and sometimes if feels like forever.  I wonder what it is going to be like in a few more years when I have spent more of my life with this man than without him?  He is the perfect husband for me and I am so grateful to have him in my life.  Even through times and there can be many that he is driving me crazy or making me angry, I know that he was made for me.  'Cuz to be honest there are not that many men out there that could put up with me for as long as he has!
